CD Specials Effective September 8, 2010

Saving money in a variety of vehicles is important. Along with Checking Accounts and Savings Accounts, Bank of Travelers Rest also offers Certificates of Deposit.  

CD Specials

A $10,000 minimum deposit is required to open a CD Special.
The maximum deposit/balance allowed per CD Special is $500,000.
APY = Annual Percentage Yield
RATE = Interest Rate
Early withdrawal penalties may reduce earnings^{*, …}.
Early withdrawal penalties may apply except withdrawals for medical purposes or death.

* CDs with maturities less than 12 months are subject to early withdrawal penalty of 30 days interest on the amount withdrawn.
^… CDs with maturities greater than 12 months are subject to early withdrawal penalty of 90 days interest on the amount withdrawn

Flex24 CD Special 

A $500 minimum deposit is required to open a Flex24 CD.
The maximum deposit/balance allowed per Flex24 CD is $250,000.
APY = Annual Percentage Yield
RATE = Interest Rate
No institutional funds (banks, savings banks, credit unions or government entities)
Early withdrawal penalties may reduce earnings^{*, …}.
Early withdrawal penalties may apply except withdrawals for medical purposes or death.

* CDs with maturities less than 12 months are subject to early withdrawal penalty of 30 days interest on the amount withdrawn.
